We founded No Lilies to offer an alternative to the traditional flowers that are sent at times of bereavement and sadness. Whether it is the death of a loved one, the breakdown of a relationship or the loss of a job.

Our story:

After the sudden loss of my youngest son we were inundated with deliveries of flowers. It was a really strange feeling as we were so grateful to everyone reaching out to us; but at the same time dealing with the flowers, the strong scent and having to dispose of them when they wilted was totally overwhelming

Then one of our dearest friends sent me a colouring book. At first I just put it in a drawer but slowly I started to use it to help find a moment of calm.

After a conversation with my brother, the idea for “No Lilies” took shape. We have carefully sourced products that we hope will bring a moment of physical comfort during difficult times.

P.S. If you were wondering why there is a small grasshopper over the first ‘i’, it is in loving memory of our boy, whose nickname was Grasshopper
